Leicester City Council is working towards implementing a new job evaluation scheme and a revised pay and grading structure in order to achieve a new harmonised pay structure. The result of this will be a Single Status Agreement.
How it affects new employees
This is a significant piece of work which the authority is undertaking.
At the point of Single Status implementation some posts will see a change in pay. This may be an increase or decrease in basic pay and/or a reduction in allowances paid for unsocial hours working. In all our recruitment we will be as open and honest as we can about the new salary for the post and every effort will be made to ensure you have up to date information available on anticipated future pay. This will be discussed with everyone who attends a recruitment interview.
