Professionals working with Young People

The teenage pregnancy campaign has drawn on national, regional and local research evidence to help young people resist the pressure to have early sex. This would be through improved sex and relationship education and supporting parents talking to their teenagers about these issues.

As part of a teenage pregnancy campaign undertaken by Leicester City Teenage Pregnancy and Parenthood Partnership a viral video, docu-drama and website has been designed. The aim of this campaign was to raise awareness for all under-18's, on issues around relationships, teenage sex and pregnancy.

The website, www.hey-babe.co.uk also offers information on sex, pregnancy and answers to frequently asked questions whilst signposting young people to help and advice.

All videos linked to this campaign are available on this website including:
 The viral video
 Six part docu-drama
