The Dog Warden service investigates complaints regarding noisy dogs.
On receipt of a complaint, the Dog Warden will visit the dog owner and give advice to try to resolve the problem.
If necessary complaints can be investigated further and if an officer witnesses a noise nuisance we may take the following action:
Informal letter
Serve a Noise Abatement Notice
Interview the dog owner under Caution
Prosecute the dog owner
