1. Containers used for transporting food must be kept clean and maintained in good repair and condition. Containers must be designed to permit adequate cleaning.
2. Containers are not to be used for transporting anything other than food where this may result in contamination.
3. Where vehicles and/or containers are used for transporting anything in addition to food or for transporting different food at the same time, there must be effective separation of the products and cleaning between loads.
4. Where necessary, vehicles and or/containers must hold food at appropriate temperatures and allow this temperature to be monitored.
