Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering

The CIEH Level 2 Award in Food Safety in catering is aimed at all food handlers who work within any sector of the food industry.

The areas covered by this course include:

  • Bacteria and food poisoning
  • Contamination of food
  • Pest control
  • Personal Hygiene
  • Legislation

    At the end of the course there is a multiple-choice test of 30 questions. All successful candidates who achieve a minimum pass rate of 20 correct answers will be awarded a nationally recognised certificate.

    If the test needs to be re-taken a £25 fee is charged.

    Obtaining this certificate will meet the training requirements of EC Regulation No. 852/2004

    If you wish to attend one of these courses, the cost per person is £50.
    Our language courses will be £60.00 per person.

Important information

 

Please note the following:

 

  • The enrolment form and course fee must be sent at least 10 days prior to the date of the course.
  • Once we have received a sufficient number of enrolments for the course to go ahead, full course joining details will be sent to you.
  • If you wish to cancel or transfer to another course within 10 days of the course date, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged, plus the full cost of any rebooked course.
  • If you fail to attend a course you have booked a 100% cancellation fee will be charged.
