Risk Assessment Workshop

Leicester City Council is now offering a new interactive Risk Assessment Workshop.

It is aimed at Managers and employees who are responsible for producing a risk assessment to comply with the legislation “Health and Safety Management Act 1999”

The workshop will be held over 3 hours and will cover the following areas:

  1. What is risk assessment?
  2. Hazards , risks and control measures
  3. The five steps of risk assessment
  4. The hierarchy of control
  5. Risk assessment review and record keeping

The workshop will be delivered in a very practical way with group work and different scenarios to base the risk assessments around. These scenarios will be based around similar examples that link into individual workplaces and will be based  around the HSE Booklet “5 steps”.

At the end of the course an attendance certificate will be given out to all delegates who complete the workshop.

This course is available to groups of 10 or more only and is £300 per course for 10 people and will  include course book, handouts and a certificate.

It is strongly recommended that students should already hold the CIEH Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace .
