High Street Conservation Area

High Street Conservation Area was designated in May 1989. It includes the whole of High Street from St Nicholas Circle in the west to Eastgates and the Clock Tower in the east.

In October 2006, a Character Appraisal was produced. At this time, the boundary was amended slightly, and the area is now approximately 3.37 hectares.
