Loughborough Road Conservation Area

Loughborough Road Conservation Area

Loughborough Road Conservation Area was designated in March 1983, originally with an area of approximately 3.01 hectares. The boundaries of the conservation area were reassessed in 2003, and it was reduced to approximately 3.02 hectares.

It stretches from Roughton Street in the north to Shaftesbury Avenue in the south.

A revised Character Appraisal was adopted by the City Council in April 2009.

You can view a map of the Loughborough Road Conservation Area.

Some properties in this conservation area are covered by an Article Four Direction, which limits the rights of householders to carry out work to their properties without planning permission.

For more information, please contact the council's Conservation Team.
