In July 2003, the City Council adopted a Character Statement for the Loughborough Road Conservation Area, as Supplementary Planning Guidance to the City of Leicester Local Plan. The area was re-surveyed and re-photographed
during August and September 2008; and a revised Character Appraisal was adopted in April 2009.
