South Highfields Conservation Area

South Highfields Conservation Area
South Highfields Conservation Area was designated in April 1981, originally with an area of approximately 22.20 hectares. The boundaries of the conservation area were reassessed in 2003, and it was reduced to approximately 20.53 hectares. This large conservation area is between London Road, Evington Road and St Peters Road.

A Character Statement has been prepared, and you can view a map of the South Highfields Conservation Area.

Some properties in this conservation area are covered by an Article Four Direction, which limits the rights of householders to carry out work to their properties without planning permission.

For more information, please contact the council's Conservation Team.
