You can now view Tree Preservation Orders in the city using the new version of our mapping system - City StreAtZ .
The link above starts CityStreAtZ with Tree Preservation Orders displayed.
To display details of any Tree Preservation Orders that cover a specific site that you are interested in, just click inside the site with the 'Information Tool'. Note that if you use a pop-up blocker in your browser you will need to allow all pop-ups from this site to extract information from the maps.
You can search for any property or site by address, postcode, building name or by zoom and pan within the map window itself. Hopefully the system is intuitive to use but it is recommended that you read the CityStreAtZ help to fully benefit from all the map sets and tools available. Help can also be accessed from the system's blue '?' button (top right).
This site is for information only. If you need to know if any particular tree is protected, or if you need any advice about tree preservation orders, please contact the Council's Planning Officer (Trees) in the Conservation & Nature Team. Note also that most trees within conservation areas are also protected.
