You can view the Planning Site Boundary Map using the new version of our mapping system - City StreAtZ. Click on this link:

Interactive Planning Site Boundary Map

This link starts version 2 of our CityStreAtZ mapping system with the Planning Sites and Planning Application boundaries displayed.

It is recommended that you read the CityStreAtZ help pages to fully benefit from all the map sets and tools available, and to ensure that your system is set up to display the maps correctly.

Within CityStreAtZ, you can search for any property or site by address, postcode or building name. You can also navigate by using the tools to zoom and pan within the map window itself.

To identify the Planning History of a site

The planning boundaries are shown in colour on these maps: most of the boundaries are red, but there may be other colours such as green, purple, blue, etc. As planning applications can relate to either a part, the whole or more than your specific site, you should use the Information Tool (i) to click on the map:

If there are coloured boundaries crossing your site, click with the Information Tool either side of the boundaries. Just clicking once within the centre of the site will only return information for that point.

If there is any Planning History then a pop up (NB pop ups must be allowed in your browser) will appear with the relevant Planning Property Reference Number(s) (PPRNs) and associated link(s) to the Planning Applications Database.  Follow each link in turn to get planning application details. Repeat this for each PPRN displayed.

The Planning Database screen

When the Planning Database opens, you can click on the Case Numbers to see more details; and you can follow the Site Reference (PPRN) links to find any Appeal or Enforcement records:
