Almost all Planning Decision Notices back to 1948, together with Conditions and Refusal Reasons (where applicable) are now available to view and print free on-line. Please note that new decisions may sometimes take a week or so to appear on this system, due to essential checking processes.
How to view planning decision notices

Go to our Planning Applications Database Search Page.

Use the search fields to find the applications of interest: these are displayed on the Search Results Screen.

Click on the Application Number; this displays the Application Details Screen.

At the bottom of the Application Details Screen, you will see View Documents: click the PDF logo to view the decision notice.
This will load our browser to view the Decision Notice in PDF format. If the Decision Notice doesn't load, please contact Planning for details. You can view or print the Decision Notice from the browser.
Alternatively, you can find the planning application of interest using the Council's CityStreAtZ mapping system:
We can also supply copies of planning application decision notices for a small charge. To obtain copies, please call at the Customer Service Centre, or contact Planning.
