Scanned images of Planning Application documents (plans, application forms, etc) from about mid-2006 are available to view on this web site. We publish new applications within five working days of validation of the application.

Go to our Planning Applications Database Search Page.

Use the search fields to find the applications of interest: these are displayed on the Search Results Screen.

Click on the Application Number; this displays the Application Details Screen.

At the bottom of the Application Details Screen, you will see View Documents: click the PDF logo to view the application documents. This will load our 'File Director' browser.

If the documents don't load, please contact Planning for details. Planning application documents are always available for viewing during normal office hours at New Walk Centre. If you want to inspect an older application, please contact our Planning service first to arrange an appointment, so that we can be sure that the documents are available.

You can also use the Leicestershire Villages web site to view the locations of undetermined planning applications in the city, and in Leicestershire.
