Leicester City Council prefers that you submit planning applications electronically using the Planning Portal. If you make an application in this way, you will be using the standard national planning application forms.
From 6 April 2008, the Government introduced standard national planning application forms (commonly known as 1APP) to replace existing local authority ones. These forms are mandatory within England (except for minerals). If you prefer not to submit your application through the Planning Portal, you can download 1APP forms to print off and fill in by hand:
If you have any enquiries about which form to use, or would like copies to be sent to you by post, please contact Planning.
