LDF CORE STRATEGY: DISCUSSION DOCUMENT ON PREFERRED STRATEGY – AUGUST 2008

New national planning policy and statutory regulations on Local Development Framework Core Strategies came into effect in June 2008. They replace the Issues and Options and Preferred Options consultation stages with an ongoing programme of pre-submission consultation leading to the preparation of a Draft Core Strategy. This is followed by formal consultation on a Draft Core Strategy before it is submitted to the Secretary of State for examination.

As part of the ongoing consultation we have produced a Discussion Document on our emerging preferred strategy. This sets out suggested policies and asks for comments.
A copy of the Discussion Document can be downloaded below.

Please send any comments to us by Friday 3rd October, making it clear which proposed Core Strategy policies you are referring to. Please include your name, address and contact details.

Comments can be emailed to us at planning.policy@leicester.gov.uk
