Leicester Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (SFRA)

Leicester City Council commissioned JBA Consulting to undertake a Strategic Flood Risk Assessment in 2003, prior to the publication of PPS25: Development and Floodrisk. The document assessed the risk of flooding from the River Soar and its main tributaries in the City, and looked in detail at the impact upon some of the Leicester Regeneration Company intervention areas.

The main report and Appendices A and B are available to download below. For the full assessment, including a photographic record of the river bank, the map outputs and AutoCad files, please contact Richard Freeman, Planning Management and Delivery on (0116) 252 7253.
