The Local Development Scheme (LDS) provides a public statement of the Council’s current planning policies and sets out a programme and timetable for the preparation of a portfolio of future Local Development Documents (LDDs) to replace those policies over a three year period.
The LDS is subject to annual monitoring and review to take account of progress in achieving the key milestones for preparing Local Development Documents.
A LDS covering the period 2010 - 2013 was adopted by the City Council on 22 March 2010. A revision was adopted on 25th November 2010 to reflect the adopted Core Strategy.
