Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) on Residential Amenity
 
Guidance for house builders, developers, architects and anyone wanting to extend their home has been drawn up by the City Council. The document aims to ensure that all new residential development in the city is sensitively designed and of a high quality.
 
The document was adopted as council policy on 18th February 2008.
 
The adopted SPD can be downloaded below along with the final sustainability appraisal, statement of adoption and comments raised as part of the consultation process.
