Green Space Supplementary Planning Document 

The Green Space SPD supports City Council’s Core Strategy Policy CS13“Green Network,” which sets out the broad context for Leicester’s Green Network. The SPD outlines the process for determining the amount of green space that new residential development would need and the mechanism for calculating the amount of developer contributions that would be required to enhance existing Green Space, if it is not possible to provide on site green space. The document will assist applicants and developers who are seeking to secure residential development, and for Councillors and Council officers when considering planning applications.
