Editorial Panel

Panel members work in partnership with staff to ensure that 'City Housing News' is tenant focused and provides information tenants and leaseholders need and want to know.

Estate Inspections

Estate inspections are carried out by local staff and tenants on a regular basis across all areas of the city. This helps us to identify local problems on our estates. We need to make sure our properties are in good repair and that estates are properly looked after. An estate inspection involves housing staff and tenants looking at all communal areas and open spaces. The findings of these inspections, including photographs, are recorded and issues passed to relevant services to be acted upon.

Leaseholders' Forum

This forum enables Council leaseholders to meet with housing staff to share their views on the services they receive.

Mystery Shopping

Mystery shoppers carry out checks anonymously to measure the quality of the services we provide. They receive training to help them do this effectively. Using mystery shoppers enables us to obtain feedback from customers using our front line services. It also helps to make staff aware of the principles of customer care when dealing with the public.
