Housing Services are responsible for maintaining all communal areas of land around your home, though tenants are responsible for keeping their own gardens cultivated and tidy. This includes making sure that any lawns, borders, hedges and trees that form part of the property are kept in good order and not left to grow wild.
You cannot cut down or remove any trees that are growing within the boundary of your property without prior written permission from the housing office. All requests to carry out such work must be submitted to the housing office in writing.
