How can I make an appointment to see an Officer?
Pre-booked appointments can be made over the phone and are available at our Wellington House office and various other offices in Leicester, the information for this is shown below. New Claim appointments last for one hour and Change of Circumstances appointments last for half an hour.
If you have been issued with a Notice of Seeking Possesion by your landlord because of rent arrears, you should contact us immediatelyon 0116 252 7006 informing the officer of this, and they will arrange an appointment with a specialist officer.
Please ensure that you arrive five minutes before your appointment, if you are late for your appointment we may not be able to see you and you will have to make another appointment.
If for any reason you cannot attend your pre-booked appointment please call the contact number and let us know.

What will I need to bring?
New Claim
Once you have made your claim online, bring us your signed declaration form, your reference number and all original supporting evidence. We will check and assess your claim within 24 hours if you provide all the supporting evidence required.
Providing further information for a New Claim
If you have already seen a New Claims Officer and have been asked to provide us with further information, the drop-in counter at Wellington House reception offers appointments every 15 minutes. These appointments are for handing in further information only. If all appointments have been taken for that day, you will be able to book an appointment for another day.
Change of Circumstances
You must tell us about any changes in writing.
You should let us know what has changed and the date the change took place, giving as many details as possible and all original supporting evidence. For example, we need to know the full name and date of birth of someone who has come to live with you, as well as the date they moved into your home.
Discuss repayment of an overpayment
Please ensure you bring your invoice and your bank details or payment.`
