Creative Leicester Shire is a programme that supports creative industries and arts businesses in Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland. The programme has been set up by the Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland Arts Partnership, which consists of all 10 local authorities in the area, including Leicester City Council, and Arts Council England, East Midlands.
The programme focuses on the creative economy and aims:
- To increase investment, employment and improve access to employment within the contemporary arts creative industries sector in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
- To support contemporary arts based creative industries to work effectively across a range of economic and social agendas.
