LCB Depot; designed by award-winning Ash Sakula Architects, opened in July 2004 on the site of the former city bus depot on Rutland Street, earning praise and two prestigious awards from the Royal Institute of British Architects.
The building has integrated artworks by
Linda Schwab (glass), Tony Stallard (neon), Metro-Boulot-Dodo (sound performance) and Faye Chamberlain (photography).
LCB Depot provides 55 studios and workspaces for creative industry businesses and organisations, meeting rooms, conference facilities and a fully licensed café.
