Orton Square, Cultural Quarter
Marvel at the amazing Lionheart project as
three giant lions in a custom-built, 16 metre glass case make up the biggest
crochet sculpture in the world, created by local artist Shauna Richardson.
Harking back to the days of travelling
menagerie shows, the sculpture is based on the lions in Richard Lionheart’s
crest and is hand-crocheted from 36 miles of yarn by artist.

Leicester's Cultural Quarter with exhibitions and events taking place at venues
