The Olympic flame arrived in Leicester on July 2nd. It was carried though the city centre and along Belgrave Gate and Abbey Park Road on to a special celebration event at Abbey Park.
The torch left the city from Leicester’s Space Centre on July 3rd, travelling along Belgrave Road and Loughborough Road, before leaving from the Great Central Railway’s Leicester North Station.
