Travelling to the Festivals

There are a variety of ways to get to our festivals and here are some ideas to help plan your journey.  For further information please refer to the individual festival pages for specific details on getting there.


Walking

If you are planning on walking to one of our festivals please visit Walkit where you can plot your route from door to door.

Cycling

Try riding your bikes down to one of our festivals visit Ride Leicester which has bike maps covering the city cycle network.

 

Public Transport

Full bus routes and timetables are available on Traveline or by telephone on 0871 200 22 33.

Trains to Leicester all arrive at Leicester Railway Station on London Road 0.5 miles from the city centre, for full information please visit National Rail.

 

Driving 

Park and Ride Services are available at three locations on the outskirts of the city at Birstall, Enderby and Meynell’s Gorse (Braunstone crossroads) for further information please visit Park and Ride.


Car Parking is available in locations across the city although parts of the city centre are pedestrianized, for a map of parking locations please visit Help 2 Park

Our Festivals are held in a variety of locations through-out Leicester City Centre, on parks and in local communities across the City.
