The BIG Christmas Switch-On
This year’s Christmas lights switch on event took place on Sunday 22nd November, at 4.30pm in Town Hall Square.

Leicester’s annual Christmas lights switch on brought children’s favourite Paddington Bear who joined Father Christmas and the Lord Mayor on stage to assist in turning on the lights in Town Hall Square.
Throughout the whole of the Christmas period the Town Hall will once again be transformed into a winter wonderland, which will include two classic moving tableauxs - Paddington Bear & The Wind in the Willows. A magical hideaway in the city centre for children and adults alike.
