School Museum

Create you own museum in school and increase pupil's understanding of museums!

This complete project pack includes full guidence notes, resources and supporting materials for activity sessions. This resource can be used as a classroom unit or for lunchtime or after school clubs.  Portable display cases are available for temporary loan to complete your school museum experience.

Arts & Crafts Inspiration Box

An exiting box that contains five contemporary works of art, which were made by local artists and inspired by Leicester born Ernest Gimson and the Arts & Crafts Movement. All contents can be handled by students.

Following an introductory session delivered by museum staff, explore the box at your own pace within the classroom.  Also included are short films of the artists in their work places, the artists' sketch books and lots of supporting material, which can be explored with the class to inspire their own works of art.
