Sport on Parks 

 Football pitches

Sport On Parks is responsible for organising and administrating a programme of outdoor recreational activities accessible through a diverse range of parks, playing fields and open spaces throughout the City.

 

There are a total 65 football pitches and 17 cricket wickets for both junior and senior play at 20 different venues, which are bookable through the local leagues.  Please click on the following for details:

Leicester District Football League

Spearing & Waite Youth League (16-18yr olds)

 

Bowls Clubs are situated in 9 of the City's parks with the Leicester Croquet Club and the Visually Impaired Bowls Club, both playing at Victoria Park.

 

 Boot Camps are taking place on the Parks at varying times throughout the week

 

Orienteering courses are available at Abbey Park, Evington Park, Knighton Park and the Arboretum

 

Leicester Blue Sox Baseball Club are now based permanently at Western Park
