Victoria Park Visually Impaired Bowls Club

The Leicester Visually Impaired Bowling Club was formed in 1965 and are affiliated to ENAVHB & British Blind Sports and this year managed to reach the National Finals, travelling to Weston-Super-Mare.  Although the club did not win, they are not deterred and hope to participate next year with a view to doing better.

Meeting regularly throughout the summer season from April to September at Victoria Park, for both social bowling and matches, competing against other clubs throughout the city and continuing through the winter at Slater Street indoor bowls centre.

A friendly mixed group, warmly welcoming any new members, both visually impaired and volunteer helpers, who enjoy not only bowling but arranging other events out and about in the city and surrounding counties.

New players have no need to be experienced, as instruction can be given and not to worry about travelling to away matches, transport can be arranged.
