Features

This 4 acre site has a rock garden, mixed borders, two small ponds, waterfall and a river boat landing.  A statue of Richard III commemorates his burial nearby after the Battle of Bosworth.  On one side, the Grand Union Canal slows past with a mooring for canal boats, which is a popular stopping off point in the summer months.  New seating for picnics has been installed where a quiet afternoon can be spent watching the brightly painted canal boats pass by.

The park is included in the Passport to Parks scheme - can you find the plaque?

Castle Garden Festival

Each year a festival takes place celebrating the history of the Castle and it's gardens.
