Friends Of Aylestone Hall Gardens

The FOAHG have been running since 2004 and have been actively involved with the management of the gardens ever since.  

The group have so far raised £4000 in funding. This has paid for a two history interpretation boards and a summer soccer scheme for young people in the area.

The friends also help with events, providing refreshments for the Halloween event, and helping with the planning of the Aylestone Hall Garden Party.

Next Meeting 16 March 2011

The Aylestone Hall Garden Party has now become an annual event.  It is a great community event with people attending from all over the area.  Visitors can listen to bands, play games, and enjoy a fun day out in the Gardens.

Sunday 1st  August 2010 - 1pm - 4pm

 The Friends have also helped provide refreshments, along with the Aylestone Bowls Club, for some of the events held on the park. Over 300 people attended the last Halloween event on the Gardens.

The Friends have supported Parks Services in obtaining the Green Flag award for the site for 3 years running.
