Swing into action with City Golf
Leicester City Council’s two municipal golf courses, which are based in Humberstone and Braunstone Frith respectively, are now gearing up to welcome and attract players of all abilities and ages to both venues when the new season begins in spring 2011.
For non players it’s never too late to get to grips with one of the most enjoyable and challenging leisure pursuits.
Both of the facilities are superbly placed to assist anyone remotely interested in taking their first steps into the sport and also provide a back up support and professional service.
No need to worry about buying equipment as both venues are well stocked with equipment, leisure wear, and hire equipment if needed.

Western Park Golf Club

Humberstone Heights golf course is sited on the east side of the city. The complex consists of an 18 hole course, 9 hole pitch & putt short course and a floodlit driving range. It also has a practice putting green, clubhouse with bar and catering facilities, with a large free car park. The reception golf shop is staffed by fully qualified golf professionals.
Western Park golf course is sited on the west of the city, comprising of an 18 hole golf course, practice ground facilities, chipping and putting area and indoor nets. the large clubhouse has a bar and catering restaurant with a large free car park. The reception golf shop is staffed by fully qualified golf professionals.
Golf manager David Butler said “With the latest introduction of our direct debit scheme it allows the golfer to spread the cost of their golfing fees across a 12 month period, and gives the golfer the flexibility to play at two of Leicester’s premier courses. Please call either of our sites and myself and my staff will be pleased to help you with all your golfing needs. From beginner to experienced, we have the skill and expertise to meet everyone’s needs”.

A yearly ticket is available and is valid for both golf courses.
