Space for Sport and Arts is a capital development project administered by Sport England funded by a combination of Sport England, Art Council England, Department for Education and Skills, Department of Culture, Media and Sport and the Big Lottery Fund.
The aim of this project is to increase and enhance the opportunity for children and local communities to participate in high quality sport and arts activities. The initiative has provided eight of our Leicester city primary schools with new and / or improved facilities for the Arts or Sport. All of the spaces are available for hire by external groups.
