Title: Safeguarding and the Role of Approved Mental

          Health Professional (one day course)

Target Group: Only for Approved Mental Health Professionals and their Managers.

 

This event is not suitable for people who work in the above roles in the independent & voluntary organisations.

 

Learning Outcomes: (what you would expect to achieve)

This event is being run jointly with Rutland and Leicestershire.   Leicester City has a nominal 30 places for this event.  Early nomination is therefore recommended.

This course aims to revisit the concept of safeguarding and focus specifically on safeguarding issues which may arise during the course of MHA assessments.

Objectives - To raise awareness of how and when to use the Safeguarding Adults Procedure during AMHP assessments.
