Training Event

Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention (SCIP)

A Positive Behaviour Support Policy has now been agreed for Learning Disability Services and a range of training to implement SCIP is now available for different staff groups across the service.

Staff will be released and allocated places to attend the relevant training by their line managers so an application form is not required.

Follow up training will be provided later in the year for staff undertaking the role of link worker who will be responsible for embedding the SCIP approach in the workplace.
