Child Protection and Children at Risk

Bal Raksha Project NSPCC
Family support and parenting work with children, young people, parents and carers from Asian communities and other ethnic minority groups.

Child Behaviour Intervention Initiative
Team based in the City Council provides early intervention and preventative service for children and young people aged 0 – 11 years at risk of social exclusion and underachievement because of their psychological, behavioural or mental health needs.

Break-Thru
The initiative is delivered by DVIRP.  Group work and one to one sessions are held with children and young people affected by domestic violence.

Cracking Conflict –Alternative to Violence (CC–AV)
CC-AV is led by the DVIRP in partnership with the forum. CCAV provides trained facilitators to deliver workshops in schools and other youth based setting on healthy relationship.

Domestic Abuse Stops Here (DASH)

DASH is an outreach service for young people that supports them around their experiences of living with or witnessing domestic abuse.  DASH services are provided by Womens Aid Leicestershire Ltd.

Connexions
Connexions offers information and advice to all young people aged 13 to 19 years* old to help them make decisions and choices in their lives.
