This Statement of
Purpose explains the aims, objectives and services provided by the Adoption
Team for The Children and Young People’s Services of Leicester City.
It is part
of the responsibility in fulfilling the requirements of the Adoption National
Minimum Standards (Revised 2011), Adoption Agency Regulations 2005 and Care
Standards Act 2000.
The Statement of Purpose is available to all staff of the
organisation, prospective adopters, children and young people, parents and
other professionals.
