How we can help

How we can help
How we can help
We work directly and confidentially with service users, and people who may care for them, to try and ensure that the needs of the individual are assessed and met.

Whether we provide a range of services either ourselves or through other organisations.

Our aim is to arrange services which:

  • enable people to take control of their own lives and cope better with daily living,

  • help people to continue living in their own home and local community for as long as they want to stay there
  • support the friends, relatives or neighbours who are in touch or who look after people with mental health difficulties.

We work closely with other statutory, voluntary and independent providers to ensure we arrange integrated services for people who sometimes have complex needs.

For example, we work with doctors, community psychiatric nurses, occupational therapists and psychologists. We also work with local and national mental health groups and with private care organisations.
