Choose My Support

ChooseMySupport is an online marketplace which sells adult social care products and support services. this has been developed by Leicester City Council in partnership with Leicestershire County Council.

The website provides a further option for adult social care customers, their carers and/or families to access information and purchase social care products and associated services directly through the internet – in a similar way to buying things through ‘Amazon’. 

Anyone who qualifies for help from adult social care may wish to use what is called an individual or personal budget to buy services as part of their support plan, and using ‘ChooseMySupport’ is one way to do this.  The website can also be used by people who are self funders i.e. those not eligible for a personal budget but still have needs around care and support.

All service providers wishing to deliver services in the City of Leicester are assessed as to whether they meet the requirements of an ‘approval process’ before being able to advertise services and/or products on the website.
