Financial Assessment

If you are an adult or older person in receipt of services from the Adults and Housing department, you may be asked to contribute towards their cost. 
 
This would be determined by a Financial Assessment (examples of the assessment calculation).

Before a financial assessment is undertaken, you will have had a needs assessment.  An assessment is the term used to describe the way we gather information about you, so we can learn about your day-to-day difficulties and needs, so we can agree what support you need.

Following the assessment, we will agree a Care Plan with you which will explain:

• What services will be provided

• When they will start

• At what times they will be provided

• Who will provide them

• What the cost will be
