Community and Day Centres

Community and Day Centres can provide an opportunity for those who have social care needs to have a break from the home environment.  They also provide a break for people who look after older people.

Learn new skills, relearn old skills, meet new people and join in with social activities and local community groups with meals and refreshments included.

We provide
Day Centres for people with disabilities and for elderly people.  We also offer Day Services organised together with voluntary groups.  They often take place in residential homes, community centres, or colleges.

Meals, refreshments and transport can be provided if needed.

Passenger & Transport Services (PATS) have been providing special needs transport for adults and children since 1997.

These services are only provided following an assessment of need.  This is a discussion with you to find out how best to support you with the problems you are having.
