Partnership Matters
The inspection will evaluate how well partners work together to keep children and young people safe, improve outcomes for looked after children and provide value for money.
- the extent to we and our partners are meeting their statutory responsibilities as set out in Working Together to Safeguard Children 2010 and in relevant statute and guidance
- the extent to we and our partners are contributing to improving outcomes for children and young people in all aspects of our safeguarding and child protection work
- the extent to which the leadership and management of those responsible for safeguarding and protecting children and young people deliver effective services, which provide value for money and are efficient and effective in their use of resources
- the extent to which we and our partners meet its statutory responsibilities
- the extent to which we and our partners are contributing to improving Every Child Matters outcomes for looked after children and care leavers in relation to:
- being healthy
- staying safe
- enjoying and achieving
- making a positive contribution
- achieving economic wellbeing
- the extent to which the leadership and management of those responsible for safeguarding and protecting children and young people deliver effective services, which provide value for money and are efficient and effective in their use of resources
Any important weaknesses identified by inspectors during the inspection will be reflected in the judgements reached regarding the effectiveness of the Local Safeguarding Children Board and the Children’s Trust Board.
