When Were We Last Inspected and What Were The Findings?
The last Joint Area Review took place in 2008. This was an inspection of all publically funded children’s services in Leicester. The inspectors found services for children and young people as Good overall with one area Outstanding (achieve economic wellbeing) and one area Adequate (social care services for children).
The two day unannounced inspection of Contact, Referral and Assessment Services took place in August 09. This had a significant number of positive findings and a few areas for development.
