Leicester Children's Trust Board (LCTB) is responsible for agreeing the vision and priorities for improvement for children and young people in the city and for expressing this in the Children and Young People’s Plan.
The partnership sets the strategic direction for the development of services for Leicester’s children and young people from pre-birth to age 19 (and up to 25 for some vulnerable young people) in order to improve their lives.
As a strategic theme (‘Investing in our Children’) group of the Leicester Partnership, the work of Leicester Children's Trust Board contributes to achieving the priorities of the ‘One Leicester’ community strategy. Decisions and actions taken, and agreed, by Leicester Children's Trust Board will be consistent with the ‘One Leicester’ priorities and its values.
