These were used to identify what we are required to do by law (statutory duties).
Research Reports
Research Reports were used to to help us to identify what activities and interventions have some evidence to show that they can contribute towards improving the outcomes of children, young people and their families.
Supply maps
A supply map is a table of information about how Leicester City Council is currently using its resources. It contains information about a range of services used by children, young people and families and includes details about what a service does, who and how many can access it and where the service operate in Leicester. The supply map will help us to identify service gaps and where a service is being unnecessarily duplicated. Two reports summarising the results of this exercise are available in the table below.
Information about children, young people and families
The Children and Young People's Plan is being used to identify whether the outcome of an activity or intervention is also a priority in Leicester.
The Children and Young People's Needs Assessment is a key source of information that can help us identify where resources should be directed to meet the greatest levels of need. We have also produced a Summary CYP Needs Assessment that shows how the needs of children, young people and families vary across Leicester's neighbourhoods.

Consultation and Representation feedback
