As you may be aware, Leicester City Council and Leicestershire County Council are working together to tackle transport issues (such as congestion and accessibility) in Leicester and its surroundings and produces a joint Central Leicester Local Transport Plan. One of our strategies within our LTP relates to Freight Transport.
The Leicester and Leicestershire Freight Quality Partnership have identified a number of areas where they feel work is required. This partnership has been operational since 2000 and has been recently re-energised to meet aims and goals with new ambition. Our newsletter is online providing information on who we are, what we’re doing and informs of recent news and events within the freight industry.
The FQP, which includes representatives from the FTA and RHA, feel that it is very important to obtain the opinions of businesses that operate in and around Leicester and also that of the delivery drivers.
We are seeking the views of businesses and delivery/collection drivers. You can help by completing the online questionnaire, that applies to you, below:
Business Questionnaire:
Freight Collection and Delivery Questionnaire

Any information you can provide will help us become a better resource for you and your drivers.
