Walking Diaries

Walking Diary
Leicester City Council also provides free walking diaries in which to record your progress, and gives tips on safe walking.    The diaries are important in the research to find out what sort of trips people are willing to take by foot.

To obtain a walking diary contact us. Alternatively, you can download a PDF version at the bottom of this page.

Organised Leader led walks

Health walks are led by volunteer walk leaders recruited from the local community and last for between 30 and 45 minutes.

They are aimed at anyone who currently does no or little physical activity but are open to anyone wanting to increase their activity levels

For more information contact us.

Healthy walks around parks

Two health walks have been developed in Abbey Park and Spinney Hill Park. To print the maps, please download the documents at the bottom of this page.

The Ramblers

The Ramblers website gives details of led walks in the area. It also has a database from where you can find a walking partner if walking alone is putting you off.
